How to record videos by using OBS on laptop
Normally, if there are multi-GPU on your laptop, your OBS can't capture the display and becomes a black screen. It is because the OBS can only run on a GPU either Integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics) or Nvidia graphics card (MX250 or others). The default output on your laptop should be Intel HD Graphics and your OBS software run by Nvidia graphics. Therefore, the capture source is not matched with the display source. We need to force our laptop to use either Intel HD Graphics or Nvidia as your display output. HOW TO FIX 1. Go settings --> Display --> graphic Settings 2. Click Browse, find the location of your OBS files, then click obs64/86.exe and add. 3. Click options and set graphics performance to power saving. 4. Restart your OBS
